Step 1:

Setting Up FiveM & Joining the Server

Download & Install FiveM
- Go to fivem.net and download the client.
- Ensure you have GTA V installed and updated.
Launch FiveM & Connect to PhatDaddyRP
- Open FiveM and search for PhatDaddyRP in the server list.
- Click Connect and wait for the assets to load.

Step 2

Creating your Character

Unique Roleplay Name (No famous names, offensive names, or troll names

Customize Your Character
- Pick clothes, hairstyles, and accessories that fit your roleplay.
Write a Backstory
- Where is your character from?
- What’s their personality and goals?
- Do they have a criminal history or a clean slate?

Step 3

Basic Controls & Commands

M Menu - Open interaction menu for character options.
F1/F2/F3 - Various menus (varies per server setup).
/me [action] - Describes an action (e.g., /me pulls out wallet).
/do [description] - Gives more details about surroundings (/do The wallet is black with a gold trim).
T - Opens chat for communication.
B - Puts hands up.
K - Opens car lock/unlock menu

Step 4

Roleplaying the Right Way

✅ Stay in character – Always act as if you are your character.
✅ Fear RP – React to danger realistically (e.g., don’t act fearless in a gunfight).
✅ Value your life – No unrealistic behavior like running into gunfire.
✅ No Fail RP – Avoid doing things that break immersion (e.g., using OOC knowledge IC).
✅ Engage in storylines – Interact with others to create RP situations.

Step 5

Jobs & Making Money

Visit the Job Center to choose a career (e.g., Mechanic, Police, EMS, Taxi Driver).

Start a criminal career (but be smart—cops are watching!).

Open businesses or trade items with other players.

Step 6

Interacting with Law Enforcement

If pulled over, roleplay as you would in real life.

If arrested, negotiate with police and consider hiring a lawyer.

Running from cops is allowed but should be done realistically.

Step 7

Server Events & Community Engagement

Participate in server-wide events (car meets, gang wars, roleplay stories).

Join or form gangs, businesses, or groups.

Stay active on Discord to keep up with news and changes.
